This attractive streamside cottage, reached by crossing
a little footbridge over Sydling Water, is set in pretty gardens,
and situated in a quiet secluded position well away from any passing
traffic.
Our B&B is in the charming and peaceful village of Sydling St Nicholas and is exceptionally well placed for exploring all parts of Dorset. Hardy's beautiful Wessex countryside is readily accessible, by foot in the surrounding hills, or by car. The World Heritage Site (Jurassic Coast) is within easy reach, as are many fascinating market towns and picturesque villages such as Sherborne and Cerne Abbas.
