"Lovely warm welcome, delightful hosts, beautiful room, comfortable and spotless. Great stay" - Pat and Brian Callaway, Lancing, West Sussex - 8th July 2007

Breakfast is served at any time between 7.45 and 9.00 a.m. in the south-facing conservatory, or in the garden if fine. As well as a full traditional English cooked breakfast, we serve cereals (including our own home-made muesli), fruit and fruit juice, yogurts, honey and home-made jams and marmalade, with a choice of coffees and teas. We use local produce wherever possible.

"What a wonderful village with a particularly lovely B&B. Thank you for your hospitality. Fantastic jams" - Lorraine and Allan Sturgeon, Eleebana, Australia - 22nd October 2007

Guests are welcome to enjoy the conservatory, as well as the garden, which has been developed over the last 25 years. It is divided into different secluded areas, linked by paths and stepping stones. The borders are mixed, with a variety of spring bulbs, perennials, roses and shrubs. The garden is shaded by tall ash trees on the west. The border nearest the stream has been left as a more natural woodland area. There are several different seating areas for guests' use, including a swing seat in our walled garden.

We are happy for our guests to spend time at Hazel Cottage during the day, to rest or relax.

We serve Dorset cream teas (with home-made scones and jam) by arrangement, either in the garden or in the conservatory.

For lunches/evening meals there is a pub/restaurant in the village within walking distance and many others in the vicinity.
